Yundang Lake, located at the heart of Xiamen, is a seawater lake like a mirror set on the island. There are small lush green islands in the lagoon, which are home to the egret, Xiamen’s signature bird. The lake is a prime tourist destination and the green trails and pavilions alongside make it a popular spot for relaxation.
