Song said, over the years, under the personal support and guidance of Chinese President Xi Jinping and Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta, the China-Kenya comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership has witnessed fast growth. The bilateral cooperation in various fields is taking the lead in China-Africa cooperation. In particular, in 2020, China and Kenya demonstrated great solidarity in the fight against COVID-19. In the face of the current uncertainties, China is ready to work with Kenya to continue to implement the important consensus between the two countries, deepen cooperation against virus, advance high-quality cooperation under Belt and Road Initiative and strive to deepen the China-Kenya comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership. 

The just-concluded Two Sessions - the annual plenary sessions of the National People's Congress and the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference - deliberated and adopted the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-25) for China`s economic and social progress and 2035 long-range objectives. China stands ready to work with Kenya to further align the 14th Five-Year Plan of China and the Kenya's Vision 2030 and the Big Four Action Plan, so as to identify the direction, tasks and measures for China-Kenya future practical cooperation, and create more benefits for the two peoples.  

Song said that this year marks the centenary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC). Since its establishment, the CPC has been committed to its founding aspiration of seeking happiness for the Chinese people and rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. China has won complete victory in the battle against poverty and 98.99 million poor people in rural areas have been lifted out of poverty based on the current standard. The country has achieved the target of eliminating absolute poverty. 

He said at present, the CPC has launched a party-wide education campaign on the history of the party. The purpose is to let all Party members acquire wisdom and strength from the past 100 year's history of the Party. China has the confidence that under the strong leadership of the CPC Central Committee with President Xi Jinping at the core, the country will open an even more glorious chapter in advancing socialism with Chinese characteristics.

Tuju congratulated the CPC on its centennial and the successful convening of the Two Sessions. He spoke highly of the great achievements China has made in coordinating epidemic control and economic and social development under the strong leadership of the CPC Central Committee with President Xi Jinping at the core, and thanked the CPC for its support to the Jubilee Party. 

He said the JP cherishes its friendly relationship with the CPC, firmly supports China's position on major issues that involve its core interests, such as issues related to Hong Kong, and looks forward to strengthening strategic mutual trust with China. He called for strengthened exchanges of experience in the governance of the party and the country, deepened cooperation in infrastructure construction and other fields, and joint efforts in practicing multilateralism in the face of the challenges of the times.
