Now You See Me 2 continued to rule the Chinese box office, earning 257 million yuan ($38.5 million) in the week ending July 3, accoeding to China Film News.

Independence Day: Resurgence stood in second place with 203 million yuan ($30.4 million) in sales during its second week in Chinese theaters.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 soared to third place after its debut on July 2 in China, grossing 170 million yuan ($25.47 million).

Bounty Hunters, a China-ROK co-produced action movie, landed in fourth place last week. It has raked in 117 million yuan ($17.53 million) since its release on July 1.

Rounding out the top five was Chinese film So, I Married My Anti-fan, which has grossed 58 million yuan ($8.75 million) since hitting screens on June 30.
