Jin Feibao

Jin Feibao, a passionate 55-year-old mountaineer and marathon runner, completed 100 marathons in 100 consecutive days across all 16 prefectures of southwest China's Yunnan Province on August 26.

The challenge was created by Jin himself, named Fairyland 100 Marathons and involved only countryside routes. Jin ran a total of 4,219.5 km, taking him past nine major lakes, six major river systems and numerous ethnic minority communities along the way.

Over the course of the 100 days, Jin's challenge allowed more people to understand the sport and promoted the development of marathon running in Yunnan.

Jin has also completed the Explorers Grand Slam, an adventurers challenge to reach the North Pole, the South Pole and the highest mountain peaks of each of the seven continents. In addition, at the beginning of the year, he participated in the seven-day challenge of seven marathons on seven continents.
