In May, 50 locally transmitted COVID-19 cases have been reported in multiple provinces, said Mi Feng, spokesperson for the National Health Commission at a press conference in Beijing. Guangdong registered 20 new locally transmitted cases on May 30. Gatherings and personnel movement should be limited in medium- and high-risk areas, Mi said. He also urged efforts to ensure the supply of daily necessities to those quarantined at home and keep track of their health conditions. |
