The International Grand Bazaar is a popular sightseeing and shopping destination in Urumqi, capital of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. At the heart of the site is a pedestrian street where history, culture and cuisine converge. Here, visitors take in striking architecture, sample local delicacies, enjoy traditional dance and music, and browse through handicrafts that embody Xinjiang's rich cultural heritage.
