Artworks from five continents are on display at the National Art Museum of China in Beijing as part of an exhibition celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative, a China-proposed initiative to boost connectivity along and beyond the ancient Silk Road routes launched in 2013. From a Turkish sculpture to an Indonesian painting, the works cover diverse genres and themes, demonstrating the Silk Road spirit of openness and mutual understanding.
