An ongoing exhibition at the Capital Museum in Beijing is showcasing gold ornaments from the Hong Kong Palace Museum (HKPM), which houses objects from the Palace Museum in Beijing and other important cultural institutions around the world.

Through the display of more than 170 artifacts produced over three millennia, the exhibition explores cultural exchange and integration in ancient times. The artifacts, donated to the HKPM by the Mengdiexuan Collection, a Hong Kong-based private collection, are being exhibited on the Chinese mainland for the first time.
