Beijing Language and Culture University students presented a cultural feast through parades, exhibition booths, performances and other forms during the 21st BLCU World Culture Festival on April 25.
Wearing traditional attire and carrying national flags or special props, many students joined in dancing alongside youths from around the world. The Five Continents exhibition area, composed of more than 100 booths, each representing a different country or region, showcased the cultures and local products of countries worldwide, as young people from different nations interacted warmly with one another.
BLCU, a higher learning institution focusing on Chinese language and culture studies, is often nicknamed as a "mini-United Nations" thanks to its international mix of students.
