The Teqball World Series Beijing 2025, held in mid-September, attracted 72 teams from 14 countries. Teqball is an emerging sport that blends the technical elements of soccer and table tennis. The game is played on a curved table, similar to those used for table tennis, and players may strike the ball with any part of the body except arms and hands. This sport was born in Hungary in 2014 and is played in more than 60 countries around the world today. The Budapest-based International Teqball Federation organizes Teqball World Championships and Teqball World Series.
