Rio de Janeiro’s Orquestra Forte de Copacabana toured several Chinese cities this month, presenting concerts and street performances, and participating in cultural exchange activities.
Founded in 2011, the orchestra is made up of young musicians aged 13 to 23 who come from underprivileged backgrounds but share a deep commitment to their craft. Supported primarily by a Chinese sponsor, the ensemble aims to use music as a vehicle for education and opportunity, nurturing talent while building artistic bridges between China and Brazil.
