The Palace Museum in Beijing is celebrating its centenary with an exhibition titled A Century of Stewardship: From the Forbidden City to the Palace Museum. Running from September 30 to December 30, the exhibition features 200 sets of cultural relics highlighting the essence of Chinese civilization—continuity, innovation, unity, inclusiveness and peacefulness—while tracing the Palace Museum's journey to becoming the world's largest preserved royal palace complex and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
