The Xinjiang Pottery Art Exhibition at the Chinese Traditional Culture Museum showcases over 800 pottery pieces from different periods in the history of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.

The exhibition features pictures of pottery dating back to prehistoric times, as well as contemporary earthenware crafts. It also displays essential elements of pottery production, such as molds and clay pigments.

Xinjiang pottery has a long history, shaped by the diverse ethnic groups residing in the region. Its development was impacted by economic and cultural exchanges between the East and the West, as well as millennia of ethnic integration. The techniques and artistic styles on display reflect these historical influences.
