The latest advances in blockchain technology, the metaverse, artificial intelligence and other avant-garde disciplines were on display at an expo in Beijing in late May.
The expo was part of the Zhongguancun Forum, a leading platform for global sci-tech cooperation. Zhongguancun, an area in the Chinese capital that houses clusters of universities and research institutes, is synonymous with innovation.
