An exhibition of murals and painted sculptures from Beijing's imperial temples in the Ming and Qing dynasties (1368-1911) is underway at the Chinese Traditional Culture Museum in the city from June 12 to July 17. The exhibition explores these works from three key perspectives: their historical roots, technical craftsmanship and underlying cultural significance.
Strikingly modern in its approach, the exhibition employs a range of technologies including AI, digital scanning, immersive interactivity and gamified experiences to turn these artworks into hands-on experiences.
