Nearly 700 exhibitors from over 20 countries and regions convened in Beijing for the Hortiflorexpo IPM Beijing 2026 from April 10 to 12. Held alternately in Beijing and Shanghai each year since 1998, the expo is a major platform for promoting exchange, innovation and trade within the global floriculture, horticulture and gardening industries. It is hosted by the China Flower Association in collaboration with German trade fair company Messe Essen GmbH, the organizer of the International Plant Fair, commonly known as the IPM.
China’s floriculture industry has expanded steadily in recent years, with the annual output value of the related industrial chain reaching approximately 520 billion yuan ($76 billion).
