An exhibition of artifacts from Qinghai Province is underway at the Chinese Traditional Culture Museum in Beijing until August 31, revealing the culture of the ancient Silk Road in Qinghai.

The exhibition brings together a curated selection of cultural relics as well as reproductions of murals at the Qutan Temple in Haidong City, Qinghai. The temple, built in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), features over 1,500 square meters of murals that blend artistic techniques from both the Central Plains, a vast area covering the lower and middle reaches of the Yellow River considered the heartland of ancient China, and the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau.
