The Great Hall of the People, located on the western side of the Tiananmen Square in Beijing, is an important symbol of China's political culture and the venue of annual sessions of the National People's Congress and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference National Committee. Its interior houses a collection of classic artworks that showcase the essence of Chinese civilization and the spirit of its past and present. These works are not only outstanding examples of classic Chinese art, but also capture and preserve the memories of the nation. BR
