A folk art exhibition titled Playful Objects All Year Round is currently underway at the National Art Museum of China (NAMOC). Running from December 27, 2024, to February 26, the exhibition is part of the Revitalization of Collections series at NAMOC. It features nearly 200 pieces or sets of folk art masterpieces from the museum's collection.

Rooted in Confucianism, traditional Chinese culture is fundamentally one of optimism and cheerfulness, emphasizing positive outlooks, self-improvement and harmonious coexistence. Consequently, Chinese folk art often reflects how these philosophies influence people's daily experiences. The aesthetic values of playfulness and enjoyment are prominent in Chinese folk art.
