The 2024-25 International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS) Snowboard and Freeski Big Air World Cup concluded at Big Air Shougang in Beijing on December 1. The giant permanent slope inside the Shougang Park, a key site from the Beijing 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, was constructed on a repurposed steel mill, blending sports with industrial heritage. The Beijing leg of the World Cup spanned three days and attracted around 170 participants from nearly 30 countries and regions worldwide. As an A-class FIS event, this competition also served as a qualifying round for the 2026 Olympic Winter Games in Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy.
