This year's Beijing International Auto Exhibition (Auto China) was held in the capital from April 24 to May 3, drawing together nearly 1,000 companies and 1,451 vehicles from 21 countries and regions. Of the vehicles on show, over 70 percent were new-energy models.

This year's event was as much a show of intelligence as ashow of horsepower, with innovation increasingly centering around the incoporation of smart technologies and physical AI into vechiles.
