On January 1, 2023, the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (RCEP) has been in force for one year. Over that time, China has joined hands with all parties to push for high-quality implementation of the agreement in an effort to increase dividends generated within the world’s largest free trade zone. President Xi Jinping said China supports multilateral trade regimes and works to facilitate the establishment of free trade zones and build an open world economy.
