Chinese President Xi Jinping addresses a high-level meeting to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the United Nations via video on September 21 (XINHUA) Chinese President Xi Jinping on September 21 addressed a high-level meeting to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the United Nations (UN) via video. He stressed that in the post-COVID-19 era, the UN must stand firm for justice, uphold the rule of law, promote cooperation and focus on real action. He affirmed that China will continue to be a true follower of multilateralism. It will stay actively engaged in reforming and developing the global governance system, and work to promote a community with a shared future for humanity.
