China International Publishing Group (CIPG) signed a new partnership agreement with the Publicity Department of the Yunnan Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) on October 9 in Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province. Under the agreement, they will work together to tell global audiences stories from Yunnan as part of the Chinese Dream of national rejuvenation.

“I hope we can take this opportunity to initiate more innovative projects and build a broader platform for international communication,” Du Zhanyuan, CIPG President said at the signing ceremony. As part of the agreement, the two institutions will establish a South and Southeast Asia communication center to enhance cultural exchanges.

Zhao Jin, Head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Yunnan Provincial Committee, said Yunnan has maintained a good cooperative relationship with CIPG for a long time, and the two institutions have achieved remarkable results in international communication.

“The cooperative framework is committed to introducing colorful Yunnan as well as Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era to the world,” he said.
